Hmm, can you smell a narcissist? Makes himself the victim, puts all the blame on someone else, is a hypocrite, steps all over someone else's boundaries…

The bare minimum in a relationship is that the couple can communicate, and that's not what's happening here.

Husband announces wife’s pregnancy without her consent, she offers no sympathy when his father goes around doing the same thing to him: “Your husband is a hypocrite”
Salutations sailors. So many women dream of their wedding day, married life, and being a mother. It's the woman's body, and she should have full control over who gets to find out about it. Her voice is an extension of the baby, and a symbol of their entanglement. Without being able to choose her decisions regarding this vulnerable state, she's left helpless. A husband of all people should be there for her, respecting her wishes, and doing what he can for her at this time. A husband who puts himself first is going to end up not very happy in the end, and potentially single.
In the story below, the protagonist is a woman who finds out she's pregnant. She has mixed feelings about it, and wants a smooth holiday season, so she asks her husband not to say anything to anyone. About 10 minutes after she requests this, he comes in telling her that he's told two of his friends. He then tells other friends and his parents. The only people he's reluctant to tell are his grandparents. Why? No one is sure, but when his father gives him an ultimatum, he gets a taste of his own medicine.
